CARSON CITY – A Las Vegas legislator thinks a 5-cent deposit should be imposed on bottles, cans and other containers of beer, soft drinks and other beverages.

Assemblyman James Ohrenschall pushed for the deposits in the recently completed Legislature in a bill to start a recycling program in Nevada.

Ohrenschall couldn’t get it passed in its original form so he settled on the next best thing — a study during the interim.  (Read More)
